My name is David Harms, I am a hobbyist woodworker living in South Texas. I have been reading, watching and practicing just about everything I can get my hands on over that past several years; I still have a lot to learn, but I also have a lot to share.Like many of you out there as a hobbyist I have a lot of things competing for my time, a demanding job as a software developer, a new born daughter, and a home that we are actively remodeling. Time with my family is precious to me, but woodworking is my only hobby and is certainly therapeutic for me. I am in high hopes that this site will both motivate and force me to make time in my shop.
